a co-worker convinced me a few months ago to commit to a progressive rock concert of the combo spock’s beard. i didn’t know what to expect from the concert since i was not familiar with this kind of music. there were too many keyboards present for my taste but the overall experience was good :-). the band mingled with the patrons after the gig and were not too tired to answer the endless autograph requests. their attitude towards the spectators is definitely exceptional. thumps up!

i am not a huge fan of flickr mostly due to their slow image loading times … – but this is really fun!

while browsing through a book magazine attached to my daily newspaper i discovered a small ad for julieta venegas’ latest album “limon y sal” which made me curious. she is an outstanding, refreshing muscian. i recommend to head to your favorite music store and check her music out. entonces, me voy … hasta la proxima!

i finally decided that the long postponed fruit juice week was due. after the holiday season i entered the next drug store and ordered the biotta wellness week box.

i strictly followed their manual. no sweets, coffee etc. for a week … headaches and similar side effects can occur but are well worthwhile enduring. you will be greeted with a few pounds less on the scale after a week without suffering hunger (;-)) plus an incredible motivation push to keep it down through sport and healthy diet.

i recalled the mtv designerama show in berlin last september yesterday. thanks to mtv overdrive designerama 2006 you can rewatch the whole show again and again. i wasn’t really aware of the band called mia but this show brought them to my attention and to what degree! enjoy the mix of fashion and live music. what a great combination!
